AT&T Mobility and its union employees have a tentative agreement in place that covers workers in the Southeast.
The four-year deal still needs to be ratified by the union. It covers more than 11,500 AT&T Mobility employees in Communications Workers of America (CWA) District 3, which includes Alabama; Florida; Georgia; Kentucky; Louisiana; Mississippi; North Carolina; South Carolina; Tennessee; and St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
The agreement covers wages, pension, disability benefits and work rules. More than a year ago, CWA members ratified a separate, four-year benefit agreement for all CWA-bargained Mobility employees nationwide covering health care and certain other benefits.
