Zultys has introduced MX Release 9.0 for the MX Unified Communications platform, as well as the release of MXvirtual, a cloud-based comprehensive Unified Communications solution for enterprises and managed service providers.
Zultys MXvirtual cloud-based solution is now available to customers alongside the premise-based MX250 and MX30 IP phone systems. MXvirtual brings Zultys all-in-one phone system and Unified Communications architecture to the cloud, delivering an enterprise-grade contact-center solution, mobile integration, instant messaging and presence, HD video, advanced call routing, fax server and interactive voice response, the company said. Customers can combine cloud and premise-based systems for complete flexibility.
MX Release 9.0 includes a new Microsoft Exchange Communicator that allows Zultys’ MX phone systems to integrate via Exchange Web Services with Microsoft Exchange Online, Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013. Another new feature in MX Release 9.0 is the centralized MXIE Unified Communication client management. System administrators now have an easy way to manage settings and call handling rules for all users on the MX system, Zultys said.
The most important aspect of Release 9.0 is that whether deployed in the cloud or at the users premise, the experience is identical from both an administrator and a users standpoint,” said Steve Francis, Zultys chief sales and marketing officer. With Release 9.0, we now provide our Channel Partners and customers with a flexible system architecture that allows pure cloud, pure premise deployment or any combination of the two.”
Zultys announced the availability of a rental pricing model for MXvirtual in addition to the traditional outright purchase option. The rental pricing model allows Zultys channel partners to offer customers a flexible monthly OPEX solution to their voice and UC needs. Zultys also announced that it will offer hosting services to its channel partners, or partners may host MXvirtual at their data center on the rental program.
