XO Communications has confirmed what many in the industry already had heard that the competitive service provider has implemented a round of layoffs.
“This past week, XO had an organizational realignment which impacted some roles within its organization,” the company told Channel Partners in a statement late last Friday.
However, XO provided no details. The corporate media department did not say how many people were impacted, how the channel is affected by the job cuts, or what “organizational realignment” means, exactly, in terms of operations and processes.
