Tech Data Corp. now sells MOBI Wireless Management’s products through its TDMobility unit.
The agreement expands MOBI’s reach into the enterprise and mid-market segments and gives resellers a platform for helping their customer manage their wireless strategies.
“Companies of all sizes have been challenged with managing difficult processes inherent in a mobile ecosystem — from processing daily transactions to securing their corporate data and handling an influx of personally owned devices,” said Mitch Black, president at MOBI Wireless Management.
Gartner Inc. projects that mobility management services will grow from $500 million in 2013 to $3.4 billion by 2016. With that in mind, Tech Data resellers now may offer MOBI’s technology and managed services for mobility, as well as its implementation, administrative and migration services. MOBI also provides BYOD evaluation, deployment and ongoing support, plus auditing tools for wireless spending.
“Mobility is becoming more complex, creating new challenges for businesses to increase control and visibility in their programs over the device and services procurement processes, program expenses, BYOD, and program data analysis,” said Heather Murray, TDMobility’s sales and marketing director. “This partnership with MOBI allows us to offer another unique line of services and solutions to meet the evolving mobility needs of organizations in all market segments.”
