Green Cloud on Tuesday introduced a line of virtual servers that let customers prioritize which product they need depending on storage, performance, replication and restoration requirements.
Green Cloud has developed a premium offering for highly transactional servers such as those running SQL and Exchange, and it has choices for Web and terminal servers, and for systems that aren’t accessed frequently but still need to be archived. There are options for on-site and off-site backup, as well as 24-hour and six-hour restoration times. Storage types include SSD, SAS and SATA.
This … is a big day for Green Clouds 125 active channel partners,” said Charles Houser, executive vice president of marketing for Green Cloud.
CEO Shay Houser agreed.
“Businesses are realizing that backup services are about as good as dial-up Internet,” he said. “They are simply useless in todays environment. … We have eliminated the complexity, confusion and uncertainty when it comes to building virtual data centers.”
