Many Apple fans clamoring for a larger screen on the next iPhone might get something else: a bigger price tag.

Apple's iPhone 6 might be bigger, but also more expensive.Analyst Chris Caso of Susquehanna International Group agrees with the rumors that peg the next iPhone model (or multiple models) with a display larger than the four inches that the iPhone 5s and 5c offer. But, he says, if Apple does indeed deliver on a 4.7-inch or even a 5.5-inch iPhone 6, it’ll cost more to build, and that cost will be passed on to the customer. Apple has traditionally priced its flagship device at $199 (on a two-year wireless carrier contract) for the model with the smallest capacity.

Caso expects the iPhone 6 will be thinner than previous models and that it will debut sooner than the typical September release date. Look for it midyear 2014, he says.
