PanTerra Networks has released Mobile UCC, the secure mobile application that extends its desktop UCC application to mobile devices.
PanTerra says Mobile UCC is the first mobile UC application to implement full, multi-phase authentication and encrypted communications across all devices including desktops, tablets, smartphones and SIP-based IP phones. Mobile UCC runs on iOS and Android-based devices and uses Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G cellular networks.
Some features of Mobile UCC include a full-function softphone, MobileCall, Bluetooth support and Visual Voice Mail. There is also enhanced security for the enterprise such as Multiple Active Device Manager (MADM), which provides individual monitoring and remote control of each device, allowing users to block devices that may have been lost or stolen.
“We have heard loud and clear that security remains dangerously lacking for other mobile communications apps according to our customers,” said Arthur Chang, president and CEO of PanTerra Networks. “Delivering Mobile UCC with its multi-phase authentication and MADM … clearly send[s] a message to our customers that we listen.”
Security and UCaaS and SD-WAN, the triple-headed monster, dominated the news last week. https://t.co/Yoq7yrjhkf
