Level 3 Communications has launch its Voice Complete solution, a new SIP-based platform that the company says removes key barriers that enterprises face when streamlining voice networks and creating pathways to emerging unified communications applications.
Level 3 says Voice Complete allows enterprises to connect to sites, in a more secure fashion, with improved operating and cost efficiency.
”Level 3’s Voice Complete solutions offer enterprises a flexible and cost-effective migration path to an all-SIP platform, which is now further enhanced by a unique combination of features such as geographic independent telephone numbers and the ability to connect to legacy equipment without an upgrade requirement,” said Cindy Whelan, principal analyst at Current Analysis.
Level 3’s Voice Complete solution provides voice capabilities powered by SIP designed to achieve higher overall efficiency and savings when compared to existing service offerings. That’s because it includes built-in options for disaster recovery, emergency 911 and the ability to connect legacy TDM office sites more easily without the need for equipment upgrades.
Some of the features on the MyLevel3 customer portal include a PRI-handoff option, geographically independent phone numbers and a combination of long distance and local services.
The Level 3 Voice Complete solution is available through indirect sales channels.
