AT&T confirmed via Twitter that two hotly anticipated devices the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear will be available on October 4 with shipments starting today.
The Galaxy Gear, also known as the first smartwatch, will be priced at $299 and will come in either black or white. The Galaxy Note 3 will also be available in black or white. It’ll set you back $300 on contract, but the device is also available via the carrier’s Next device upgrade program.
The Gear is said only to be compatible with the Note 3 at launch, but will likely get support for Galaxy S devices and older versions of the Note soon.
While specific dates may vary, all major U.S. carriers will have the devices readily available in early October.
