Oracle introduced at Oracle OpenWorld this week the Oracle Cloud Marketplace, which features more than 100 business applications developed by Oracle partners that customers can browse, evaluate and buy.
The Oracle Cloud Marketplace brings a distribution channel to Oracle partners, enabling them to reach the company’s customer base with their cloud applications. Oracle partners can use the Oracle Cloud Platform Services to build applications, extend and integrate with Oracle SaaS applications, and publish their applications on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.
At launch, the available applications cover channel management, lead generation, data quality, reporting, productivity tools, quoting, contract management, forecasting, sales incentives and compensation management. Examples include BigMachines’ quote-to-cash capabilities for Oracle Sales Cloud and Oracle ERP Cloud, ReadyTalk for Oracle Marketing Cloud, and sales force automation from Xactly Incent for Oracle Sales Cloud.
Applications are listed along with all the relevant details to help customers determine their value for their organizations, including user ratings and reviews.
The Oracle Cloud Marketplace is specifically designed to help organizations quickly and easily find, evaluate, and purchase the applications they need to reach their business goals,” said Steve Miranda, executive vice president of Applications development, Oracle, in a press statement. “As the perfect distribution channel for cloud applications, it also creates exciting opportunities for our partners by enabling them to easily develop, integrate, publish, and monetize their innovative applications.”
Security and UCaaS and SD-WAN, the triple-headed monster, dominated the news last week. https://t.co/Yoq7yrjhkf
