Cloud services provider Green Cloud Technologies, which distributes solely through the channel, has signed master agency Intelisys as its newest partner.
Intelisys partners initially will be able to sell disaster recovery and virtual server platforms.
Green Cloud has a fresh and brand new approach to Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service,” said Andrew Pryfogle, senior vice president and general manager of cloud services and complex bids at Intelisys. Their value proposition is easy for VARs to sell, and even easier for customers to understand.”
Meantime, Dan Sterling, Green Cloud’s president, noted that Intelisys partners will be able to use this partnership to build a recurring revenue practice. Such an approach is critical for VARs, dealers and other partners from the traditional IT channel who are accustomed to an up-front compensation model. Indeed, Pryfogle also called Green Cloud’s pricing model “very disruptive.”
The Green Cloud-Intelisys partnership is new in name and terms only. Both companies’ founders have worked together since 1994, when Green Cloud’s executive team ran Corporate Telemanagement Group and sold through Intelisys.
