IT EXPO snom and Patton Electronics have expanded their partnership, announcing they will offer telephony bundles in both North and South America through ABP Technology.
Beginning on Aug. 30, both companies will sell bundles consisting of snom’s SIP-based VoIP phones and Patton’s SmartNode Branch eXchange (SNBX) appliance that is preinstalled with Windows 7 and 3CX Phone System software.
This telephony bundle will ease the buying process, the companies said. Resellers and integrators only have to determine how many phones they will need, the number of simultaneous calls required and whether or not they are connecting legacy equipment to the IP-PBX infrastructure.
“Answer those questions and your bundle is ready to be shipped and installation couldn’t be easier,” said Tyler Delin, product marketing manager for Patton. “The SNBX will ship to your door with Windows 7 and 3CX Phone System already installed.”
All you need to do then is use the 3CX license key to unlock simultaneous calls and provisions from snom’s IP phones via the 3CX auto-provisioning tool.
ABP Technology, a Dallas-based distributor specializing in IP telephony solutions, is selling the bundle. The price is expected to be competitive compared to the prices of buying the other components individually.
Customers can also choose a bundle that includes VoIP routers in addition to the IP-PBX, IP phones and VoIP gateway. The VoIP routers prioritize voice traffic over data traffic.
