Internap Network Services Corp. has implemented some significant partner program changes as it works to bring IT services to more types of end users.
The changes start with updated contracts that let agents choose the program and compensation levels best for their businesses. Internap now offers two partner programs: Performance and Referral. The former gives partners access to all of Internap’s services, including cloud, hosting, colocation, Internet connectivity and CDN. The latter is for partners who don’t want to serve as resellers or agents, but who want to make a one-time commission on referrals. Internap said its portfolio and programs meet the needs of a broader range of partners, including cloud and data center migration firms, VARs, MSPs, web developers and traditional telecom agents.
In addition to two program options, Internap has formed a dedicated, global channel sales team for agents; the team will oversee onboarding and training, among other types of engagement. Internap also launched a new partner portal for agent lead submission and management.
As we continue to drive adoption of our hybrid IT infrastructure portfolio…we recognize the significance of all sales channels, and our agent partners are an important route to market,” said Stephen Callahan, vice president of global strategic channels at Internap. We look forward to delivering on our go-to-market strategy through continued commitment and investment in our partner program, both here in the U.S. and globally.”
Internaps agent partners includes Avant Communications, Business Communications Management (BCM), Bridgepointe Technologies, COLOPeople, Colotraq, Converged Network Services Group, Global Communications Networks, Presidio, Servergy, Simplify and StrataCore, among others.
