Carousel Industries consults, integrates and manages technology solutions, including unified communications, managed services, virtualization, VoIP, video conferencing and collaboration and data infrastructure solutions. The company is based in Exeter, R.I., and has more than 1,000 employees, including 25 technicians, working from offices in 30 locations across country. It serves more than 6,000 customers, including 35 of the Fortune 100.
Intelisys is a distributor of business communications services including voice, data, access, cable, collaboration, wireless and cloud. The partnership with Intelisys gives Carousel access to more than 60 of the telecom industrys cloud and network suppliers, as well as a residual commission model.
The partnership first began in 2009 when Carousel acquired DayCom, a California-based VAR with which Intelisys already had a working relationship. Over the years, the connections and opportunities between Carousel and Intelisys continued to grow, the companies said in a press statement. The current agreement, formalized in December 2012, already has resulted in significant returns. In the first quarter of 2013, Carousel has sold more than $1 million in annual revenue through Intelisys.
