Charter Business has promoted Don Coufal; he moves up from national partner director, according to his LinkedIn profile, to director of channel sales for the company’s northern region.
Coufal remains responsible for the master agencies including Intelisys, MicroCorp, Telarus, Telecom Brokerage Inc. and WTG within Charter’s indirect program but also now oversees channel managers in Michigan, Oregon and Wisconsin. Michael Fair, vice president of channel sales and national accounts, still is in charge of Charter’s sales efforts in Connecticut and Missouri.
Coufal has worked in the communications industry for more than 30 years. He has been with Charter since April of last year; previous companies on his resume include Comcast; channel consulting firm MarketRace, which Fair co-founded; MegaPath Inc.; XO Communications, Internap; and Qwest Communications International Inc.; and AT&T.
