Jenne Inc. has signed a distribution agreement with AMX so resellers specializing in unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) may offer meeting-room integration without traditional programming complexity.
AMX’s products comprise both hardware and software and work with major vendors’ UC systems, including those from Avaya and LifeSize. Jenne is providing AMX support in the form of a product manager who will serve as the liaison among technical services, sales associates and AMX. Jenne also is offering AMX training to its channel partners.
End-users frequently complain about requiring multiple resellers to integrate these technologies, and the lack of a single control point for these systems,” said Jay Jenkins, AMX’s distribution manager. “With Jenne, we can offer VARs an integrated and unified platform that provides … value as a one-stop shop.”
To that point, Jenne is distributing AMX’s line of Enova DVX meeting room appliances, the Modero X-Series touch panels, and control pads, lighting and client access products. The appliances come with cloud software that lets resellers configure a meeting room in less than an hour, as opposed to weeks with traditional programming, AMX said.
