EarthLink‘s (Booth 3011) Channel Partners IT Services Advisory Panel held its final meeting on Feb. 20, during which it reviewed the deliverables recommended by the panel to ensure a successful IT Services market launch.
The panel, formed late last year, was designed to educate the channel about EarthLinks growing IT services portfolio, help craft its go-to-market plan and also provide valuable partner insights and recommendations on how to best gain market and mindshare. Many panel recommendations were incorporated into four sessions of EarthLinks IT Services Creative Selling Series that were presented at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo.
Made up of national master partners, select regional partners and VARs, the panel operated separately from the carrier’s partner advisory board.
Our intent with the panel was to shape our IT services products to the channels needs and go to market with the approach that would enroll and create maximum mindshare and market share," said Sherri Turpin, EarthLink VP of channel strategy. The panelists also will be part of beta and/or pilot trials of certain products and channel enablement systems for IT services, and the feedback that we receive will give us the opportunity to bring the best solutions to our partners and truly differentiate EarthLink from the rest of the pack.”
At the Feb. 20 meeting, the panel reviewed a comprehensive tool kit developed to provide partners with the resources they need to successfully take EarthLinks IT services to their customers including win sheets, technical specification sheets, a TCO tool, Quick Reference Opportunity and Qualification Guide, collateral, customer-facing presentations, case studies, Webinar recordings and whitepapers.
