Airband Expands to Orlando

Airband Communications said on Thursday it has expanded to Orlando, a destination city with more than 450 hotels that need voice and data services.

In addition to the hospitality market, Airband a fixed-wireless provider that sells through partners said it aims to target businesses, entertainment venues and multitenant office buildings. However, the company said it’s well-suited to serve hotels and their events because it can deliver a dedicated circuit for guest rooms and a separate circuit for conventions.

Orlando hoteliers have grown tired of inadequate data service experienced with the local phone and cable infrastructure because its vital that guests be satisfied with their high-speed Internet access,” said Daman Wood, Airbands executive vice president of sales, in a press release.  We support hotels back-office traffic and guest Internet access with separate … scalable circuits.”

Airband serves 17 markets across the United States.
