Zeacom, a contact center and business process automation company that’s part of Enghouse Systems, on Tuesday released the latest version of its Zeacom Communications Center (ZCC) software.
Zeacom’s platform already works with Microsoft Lync. But the 6.2 release includes a hybrid environment that lets businesses use Lync on a trial basis while using their existing infrastructure. The new edition also gives customers faster migration and more database management options because Zeacom now uses Microsoft SQL Server Database. Zeacom 6.2 further displays metrics over iPad, Android tablets and smartphones; tickertape-type scrolling lets managers decide what’s most important.
In addition, ZCC 6.2 comes with a post-call survey option so customers can provide immediate feedback without involving the agent. Finally, ZCCs email queuing and unified messaging now are supported for Microsoft Office 365 and in a Hosted Exchange environment.
