Unified communications and network solutions provider MetTel has just opened what it calls a state-of-the-art network node in Santa Clara, Calif. The company says this new center adds to the service and reliability it already offers customers with nodes in New York and Dallas.
The new California point of presence provides total surveillance of client networks, increasing security and expediting service problem identification, notification and resolution. It also enhances the companys disaster recovery options, MetTel said.

MetTel network nodes are interconnected with many different wireline and wireless service providers. As a result, the company says it can provide unique network solutions that help reduce total enterprise telecommunications costs, improve network performance and speed, and increase productivity for clients.
In addition to the network nodes continuous network management, the companys MetOne portal allows clients to monitor the performance of their customized networks in real-time to optimize network utilization. The portal also centralizes all customer inventory, billing and help desk functionality.
