Cloud communications provider Momentum has expanded its year-old VAR program.
As of August, Momentum had hired indirect channel managers to oversee sales in Boston; Denver; Los Angeles/Orange County; Nashville; and Miami. At press time, Momentum also was planning to expand into Chicago, Dallas and New York.
The company also has created new management tools for partners and new products for customers. To the latter point, the hosted VoIP portfolio now includes unified communications, contact center, call recording and mobile applications.
Many of the changes have come as a result of direction from Momentum’s new channel chief, Jamie Minner. Minner has been on board as vice president of sales since June. He came to Momentum from MHO Networks.
