DSCI Corp. (Booth #712) has released its newest enterprise communications tool.
DSCI says its Web Collaboration tool empowers participants anywhere in the world to connect and collaborate with real-time, multi-person video conferencing and desktop sharing. Allowing up to 100 participants per meeting room, it is an ideal solution for many online events, from small meetings to large sales and marketing Webinars. Whats more, since DSCI Web Collaboration is accessible from any public Internet connection, it eliminates the firewall and proxy barriers which often delay participants from joining meetings on other platforms.
DSCI Web Collaboration offers a complete range of productivity-enhancing features, including document and application sharing, multi-point video feed, interactive whiteboards and polls, session recording and editing, public and private chat, remote desktop control, in-session file transfer, and Microsoft Outlook integration, the company said. Audio may be delivered via an Internet connection (VoIP) or through DSCIs audio conferencing service, and can be controlled with a click of the mouse through the Web interface.
DSCI Web Collaboration is not just another Web conferencing service. It enables real-time collaboration between participants, and is an important component of a complete UC [Unified Communications] solution,” said Sean Dandley, DSCIs president and CEO. Online meetings shrink the distance between participants, and platform independence allows each of those participants to connect from the location and device of their choice. In this way, collaboration truly achieves the UC ideal of integrated, ubiquitous communications capability.”
