TelePacific Communications (Booth #501) has released an MPLS VPN failover solution it’s calling 1Net Continuity.
The service is Cisco-based and augments the availability of Telepacific’s 1Net MPLS Virtual Private Network product. 1Net Continuity automatically re-routes MPLS VPN data traffic from the primary network to a dedicated, secure secondary circuit in seconds to minimize any disruption to an end-user’s critical business applications, such as point-of-sale transactions or online ordering systems. And because 1Net Continuity is access-agnostic, it doesnt matter whether customers are connected to TelePacific over a traditional T1 or Ethernet.
Other secondary access options for 1Net Continuity include 3G wireless, Ethernet over Fixed Wireless, DSL and cable, or customer-provided access with another carrier.
