The company wants to work with partners such as hosted VoIP resellers; systems integrators focused on verticals including financial services, hospitality and health care; and open-source IP PBX providers. It’s using its time on the show floor to meet with potential partners.
CloudTC’s partner program includes channel managers, dedicated support personnel and an online portal. CloudTC pays up-front commission on the Glass phone, which comes with a suggested retail price of $599. Channel-partner pricing starts at $479 and can go as low as the mid-$300s for high volumes, said Anthony Gioeli, president and CEO of CloudTC.
“Our product is unique in the marketplace, so it gives our channel partners a differentiated offering,” Gioeli added. “As a new company, our existing channel partner base is small.”
The Glass phone features one-touch calling, HD audio, an 8.9-inch touchscreen, integration with Salesforce.com and access to business apps via the CloudTC Android Marketplace. It is best for SMBs whose employees work in multiple locations or from home. The user interface can be customized. Plus, resellers may brand both the hardware and software.
