Marketed to both the business user and general consumer, Verizon Wireless and Motorola announced today that they are adding three new smartphones to the DROID RAZR family.

The new DROID RAZR M, DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD are all powered by the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, giving customers the ability to simultaneously talk and browse the Web.

DROID RAZR M is a compact smartphone with a 4.3 inch display. This model is shorter and narrower than the original DROID RAZR, but it includes the same size display.

The new phone also features Web browsing capabilities by combining Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network with the Chrome for Android mobile browser. In addition, the DROID RAZR Ms SMARTACTIONS feature maximizes battery efficiency, the manufacturer said.

DROID RAZR HD has a 4.7 inch Super AMOLED HD display that provides customers with 78 percent more pixels. This model also features a 40 percent greater battery capacity than the original DROID RAZR.

DROID RAZR MAXX HD includes 32 hours of normal battery use. The battery capacity supports 13 hours of video playback, 21 hours of continuous talk time, or 8 hours of Web browsing.

Verizon Wireless also confirmed it will work with Nokia in the future, according to The Wall Street Journal. This means Verizon will likely begin selling the Nokia’s line of Windows 8 smartphones before the year is out.

The Razr family has been a pleasant surprise for Motorola. The Razr Maxx, released earlier this year, outsold the iPhone 4S last month at Verizon Wireless.
