Savvis, the cloud infrastructure and hosted IT solutions provider owned by CenturyLink, said the program offers flexibility to its enterprise cloud computing environment through partnerships with cloud technology providers.
Partners in the program include BMC Software, ServiceMesh, Rackware, Compuware, DataGardens, Racemi, RiverMeadow Software and ScaleXtreme.
The technology providers offer their services and products to Savvis customers, and in return, obtain access to Savvis Symphony VPDC cloud capacity for API integration and testing plus direct access to Savvis’ product management and engineering teams. Following completion of successful integration with the Savvis API, the technology companies gain access to Savvis sales and marketing resources.
“Enterprises seek comprehensive cloud governance and life cycle management, including the ability to manage both on- and off-premise workloads important capabilities that technology providers such as BMC Software, ServiceMesh and Rackware provide to our clients as part of the newly launched Savvis Enterprise Cloud Ecosystem Program,” said Jonathan King, vice president of cloud solutions at Savvis, in a statement.
Savvis plans to augment its program through relationships with additional partners.
