Fixed wireless broadband provider Accel Networks has hired Ricardo Flores as its vice president of sales.
The position is a new one as Accel asks Jon Forest, vice president of business development, to manage partnerships for the Maestro system. Flores will handle direct and indirect sales for Accel.
Flores comes to the Florida-based company from Apple, where he developed a professional services team selling to the enterprise, government and education verticals across the western United States. Flores also has worked for Alcatel and Sabre/American Airlines. At Accel, he will expand distribution based on his wireless industry relationships.
Accel has unique technology at a time when fixed wireless broadband is really taking off,” Flores said in a prepared statement.
Flores reports to Accel CEO Mark Gianinni.
