Not long after an analyst at JP Morgan predicted Apple’s next-generation iPhone will be released in September, another industry watcher is saying the same.

One of the only issues raising concerns of a delay beyond September is the device’s battery, which Topeka Capital Markets’ Brian White told investors isn’t meeting industry standards, according to Apple Insider. But while two-thirds of those batteries might be falling short up to this point, White says don’t expect it to be a significant enough problem to push the launch back a month. Up until recently, October exactly one year after the debut of the iPhone 4S has been the month of choice for so-called industry experts.

“If there is a battery challenge, we trust that Apple will be able to figure it out in time for a September launch,” White wrote in his note to investors.

The sixth-generation iPhone will almost certainly be compatible with 4G LTE networks and is widely expected to offer a larger screen than previous iterations likely four inches or slightly bigger.

Of course, Apple remains mum on the topic, only showing off some of the cool new features of iOS 6 the software on which the new iPhone will run last month at its Worldwide Developers Conference.
