Phoenix-based hosted VoIP provider One Stop Voice has tapped Greg Smith as its new vice president of sales.
Smith, who may be familiar to the channel from a brief stint with Integra Telecom in Arizona in 2008, will run One Stops direct and channel efforts. In fact, he is tasked with developing the channel program; when channel conflict arises, One Stop will defer to partners, said Joshua Simon, principal of One Stop Voice.
The long-term relationship with our customer and the channel partner is more important than one direct deal,” Simon said.
Its a great time to be working in this field and I look forward to introducing more channel partners and clients to [One Stop Voices] great array of communications services,” he said in a press release.
In addition to Integra, Smith has worked for 1Wire Communications and City Communications Integrated. He has spent more than 20 years in sales, marketing and operations, with much of that time in telecom. Adding Smith to the One Stop Voice rolls is part of our strategy to develop a strong team comprised of industry veterans and burgeoning telecom talent who will help our company grow rapidly to meet the hosted VoIP markets demands,” said Simon.
