ViaWest, a data center, cloud computing and managed services provider that works with channel partners, said this week it’s expanding its Hillsboro Complex data center in Oregon.
The buildout will add 23,000 square feet of usable raised floor for a total of 50,000 square feet of sellable space. ViaWest said those numbers will make the facility, which features SSAE 16/SOC 1 and SOC 3 compliance, the largest of its kind in the Beaver State.
ViaWest specializes in data center, cloud computing and managed services. Executives said the data-center expansion is driven by demand from customers across all verticals and company sizes.
Earlier this year, ViaWest debuted its channel program; the company partners with VARs, systems integrators, managed services providers, agents and others. It pays monthly commissions and offers around-the-clock support.
