Endeavor Boosts Sales Leadership

Professional services outsourcing company Endeavor announced Monday the that it has beefed up its sales leadership team.

Greg Sweeney, a 30-year veteran of the telecom industry, was hired as vice president of sales and will lead Endeavor’s inside and outside sales efforts, including a team of national account executives.

Sweeneys appointment has allowed Endeavor to promote Robert von Sprecken to the position of senior vice president of business development, leading a team dedicated to developing new service products, generating timely proposals and delivering consistent agreements.

Previously, business development and outside-sales activities were handled within the same group at Endeavor. 

Prior to joining  Endeavor, Sweeney spent the previous 11 years in executive-level sales roles for Telsource, serving as business unit president and vice president of sales & marketing during his tenure. Earlier in his career, Sweeney spent 15 years with AT&T, holding positions such as marketing manager, sales director, and business development manager. He has a master’s degree in business administration from Rutgers University, where he also attained bachelors degrees in electrical engineering and psychology.

von Sprecken brings more than three decades years of experience to Endeavor in the areas of marketing, product development, business development and channel alliance management. Over the past five years at Endeavor, von Sprecken has held the positions of director and vice president of business development. Previously he held leadership roles at Channelocity, Fusion Sales Partners, Home Director and Duke Energy. He has a bachelor’s of science degree in business and English from Wake Forest University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Clemson University.

Endeavor offers outsourced professional services for carriers, service providers, systems integrators, VARs and equipment manufacturers. Its services include field services, order fulfillment, and Tier I and II tech support. Endeavor’s field organization consists of more than 9,000 certified technicians throughout North America, including all of the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Caribbean.
