Sprint Wholesale and Emerging Solutions today announced Wholesale Cloud Services, coming later this year.
Sprint said Wholesale Cloud Services provides SMB-focused resellers with a full suite of enablement applications and one-on-one support to help them launch more quickly and less expensively than if they were to create the service themselves.
The service aims to increase revenues for wholesale customers while also allowing them to increase savings and gain access to enterprise-grade applications for their SMB customer base.
The multi-vendor hosted software services will be available to any SMB-focused reseller even if they are not a Sprint Wholesale customer today that wishes to quickly offer cloud solutions to their SMB customers without building it themselves.
Sprint Wholesale Cloud Services enable Wholesale partners and their customers to get to market faster by reducing the number of contracts they are required to manage and aggregating all of the software offerings through a single Web interface,” said Ben Vos, vice president of wholesale business operations at Sprint. Sprint Wholesale Cloud Services enable partners to deliver, under their own brand, on-demand access to computing services and storage resources to SMBs.
This new offering may allow resellers and their SMB customers to improve sales and increase flexibility. For example, customers with an existing cloud portfolio can select core services to help complete their current cloud offering.
