FalconStor Software Inc. has hired former CA Technologies channel sales executive Gary Quinn as vice president of North American sales.
Quinn is charged with expanding FalconStors North America channel sales initiatives and partner network.

He is the right man at the right moment for FalconStor, as we intensify our focus on developing, marketing and selling solutions designed for high-volume sales through our partner network.”
Quinn worked at CA Technologies for more than 20 years. During that time, one of his roles was as executive vice president of international sales and North America channel sales. However, Quinn most recently served as the commissioner of information technology for the Suffolk County Department of Information Technology in Long Island, New York. Quinn said he’s looking forward to “marshaling FalconStors sales team and channel partners to go further into the high-volume SMB market.”
“The company has achieved significant momentum with FalconStors PartnerChoice program, the partner advisory council and its motivated channel sales organization,” Quinn said.
FalconStor develops platforms that provide disk-based backup, data protection, WAN-optimized replication and disaster recovery automation.
