10n2 Names First Platinum Partner

CHANNEL PARTNERS 10n2 Technologies Inc. (Booth #109 at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo), which has developed anti-distracted-driving software for businesses and other organizations, said on Tuesday that US Network Inc. is the first master agent to join its Platinum Partner Program.

US Network is a 23-year-old master agency and is ranked as one of AT&T’s top 10 national partners. Teaming with 10n2 “adds value to our current focus,” said Mark Venuto, vice president of sales for US Network. “Mobility is growing exponentially and the 10n2 product vision is complementary to the direction of US Network.”

10n2s software prevents the use of mobile devices while driving. The BizProtect line is for enterprises and OneProtect is for consumers. Distracted driving is a dangerous and costly public threat. The U.S. Department of Transportation now enforces stiff fines of up to $11,000 per company when employers and employees are caught using their mobile devices while driving. Many states also can suspend commercial licenses for two or more violations. Further, insurance premiums rise for unsafe drivers. All in all, for employers, the price of prevention outweighs the risks.

For 10n2, then, strategic partnerships are key.
