Still deciding whether to attend the Spring 2012 Channel Partners Conference & Expo in a week? Or maybe you’re all squared away for the show and looking for those little perks that transform a Vegas business trip from great to stellar. 10n2 Technologies (Booth 109): The company, a developer of anti-distracted-driving software for mobile devices, is giving away an iPad 3. Attendees may drop off their business cards at the booth; 10n2 will draw the winner on the last day and notify that person via email.
2talk (Booth 230): The hosted VoIP provider has a new iPad 3 (16GB, Wi-Fi) on hand for a lucky winner, along with a $100 2talk account. Spend a few minutes with the folks at 2talk, then drop your business card in the bowl. The winner will be drawn when the show ends and notified by email and phone.
Accel Networks (Booth 641): Enter to win a new iPad. Details at the booth.
American Telesis (Booth 333): The WAN provider will hold two drawings for $100 worth of gambling chips. The first drawing will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27; the second will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28. Drop off your business card at the booth; you don’t have to be present to win.
AT&T Alliance Channel (Booth 521): Go for the networking, stay for the blackjack. If you win a hand, you get a prize (details not available).
BCN Solutions Express (Booth 117): The competitive service provider will give away an iPad on the second day of the show, during the final expo-hall hour. The winner will be drawn from a stash of business cards.
Bottom Line Solutions (Booth 113): The wireless lifecycle management company is giving away an iPhone 4gs. Attendees may put their business cards in a bowl at the booth; the drawing will take place as the show is ending. The winner will be notified via email and the phone shipped the next day.
Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM): This show sponsor comprised of Comcast Business Class, Charter Business, Optimum Business by Cablevision and Time Warner Cable Business Class — is running a cable passport giveaway. The prize is a $1,000 American Express gift card. To be eligible, attendees must take an official cable passport (handed out when entering the exhibit hall) and visit each participating company’s booth (Charter Business Class, Booth 500; Comcast Business, Booth 305; Optimum Business/Cablevision, Booth 200; Time Warner Cable Business Class, Booth 404). Make sure to have your passport stamped. Once all passports are fully stamped, turn them in to Channel Partners (Booth 242) by 5 p.m. on March 28. Then, at 5:30 on March 28, make your way to the Time Warner Cable Business Class booth for the drawing. You must be present to win the $1,000 gift card.
CareConnect (Booth 446): Enter to win an iJuke jukebox. More details are available at the CareConnect booth, but the winner will be chosen by business-card drawing near the end of the show. The winner may claim the prize on-site, or it may be shipped.
Cbeyond (Booth 327): The cloud services provider is going with an “Above the Cloud” theme and, as such, is giving away a $500 American Airlines airfare voucher on March 27, 28 and 29. Winners’ business cards will be drawn from a bowl and announced an hour before the expo hall closes each day. Meanwhile, when you visit the Cbeyond booth, get your photo taken (your “Cloud Shot”) for a chance to win a $100 American Express gift card. You will need to post the photo to Twitter with a special hash tag the best photos win. Gift card winners will be determined by April 13.
Cisco: Attend the Accelerating UC Adoption and ROI workshop sponsored by Cisco and be in the running for two cool Cisco prizes. The first is a Cisco SPA 525 Phone with a Plantronics Voyager Pro headset; the second is a Cisco OnPlus remote network management appliance. The latter is intended for use by MSPs but really is the ultimate toy for any geek with a home network, a little bird at Cisco tells us. Also, the company will hand out laptop sleeves to the first 75 workshop attendees.
Concierge Communications (Booth 102): The telecom brokerage firm will give away five Roku 2 XD devices. Partners may drop off their business cards at the Concierge booth and during open-house meetings in the Concierge suite. Winners will be drawn at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 29. You don’t need to be present to win, but if you are, you may take your Roku home with you.
DSCI Corp. (Booth 432): Need to relax or spiff up those loafers? The hosted communications provider is offering you a chance to do both. On Tuesday, from 4-7 p.m., stop by for wine and beer. Then, on Wednesday, from 2-6 p.m., drop in again for a shoe shine.
Estech Systems Inc. (Booth 614): The VoIP equipment-maker is giving away three Best Buy gift cards, each worth $100. Give Estech your business card, then get ready for the drawings. The first will take place on March 27 at 6 p.m., the other two on March 28 at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Winners will be notified via email if they aren’t at the drawing.
FORTRUST (Booth 340): The data center provider is giving away an iPad 2. A drawing, from a bowl of business cards, will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28.
Geek Squad (Booth 228): Fill out a short survey at the Geek Squad booth and be entered into a sweepstakes drawing. The prize is a $500 Best Buy gift card. The randomly selected winner will be notified within two weeks of the Spring 2012 Channel Partners Conference & Expo, by phone and email.
Glacial Energy (Booth 530): Take your business card to the Glacial Energy booth, agree to sign a non-binding partner agreement with the provider, and be entered into a drawing for an iPad 3. Glacial Energy will hold the drawing at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, as it wraps up the hospitality bar that also will be held from 2-6 p.m. that same day.
GLOBALINX (Booth 300): In honor of its $0.0095 SIP rates, GLOBALINX is giving away $95 in gambling chips. Scan a QR code at the GLOBALINX booth, or enter your name and contact information via your smartphone or tablet. The winner will be chosen randomly, then notified to come pick up the prize in time to hit the blackjack or roulette tables. GLOBALINX also will be hosting free massages from a top Las Vegas massage therapist.
iAreaNet Global (Booth 245): The provider of cloud-based office tools will give away one iPad 3. To qualify for the drawing, watch the iAreaNet Global demo and give the company your business card. The drawing will be held during the last hour of the show at the iAreaNet Global booth.
Integra Telecom (Booth 332): Vegas is the place to gamble and Integra Telecom has the prize wheel. Take a spin for a chance to win a number of prizes — including iPad sleeves, light-up shot glasses and Visa gift cards on the spot.
InterCall (Booth 521): The conferencing and collaboration services provider is joining the iPad giveaway frenzy. Attendees must leave their business cards at the InterCall booth; the drawing will be held after the expo hall closes, and the winner will be notified via email.
Lightyear Network Solutions (Booth 526): Riffing on the NCAAs, Lightyear is hosting “Agent Partner Madness.” When you play Basketball Pop-A-Shot, and score at least one basket in 45 seconds, you’ll be entered to win a Samsung Galaxy tablet. The drawing will take place on Wednesday, March 28, at 5:30 p.m. Lightyear also will hand out casino chips to the person with the highest score every hour the expo hall is open on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Masergy (Booth 623): The network services provider is giving away three iPad 3s one on each day of the show. Just leave your business card with Masergy. Each drawing will take place 15 minutes before the expo hall closes March 27-29. If your name is drawn and you’re not present, you’ll be notified over the phone.
MegaPath (Booth 311): MegaPath will give away Amazon and Starbucks gift cards during its MPLS University vendor presentation on Weds., March 28 in Neopolitan IV. The first session will be held from 10:15-11:10 a.m. (“MPLS Timeline: Understanding the Project Scope-to-Order-to-Install Process”, and the second from 11:20 a.m.-12:15 p.m. (“Now What … Building a Private Cloud: From Inception to Launch”). The gift cards will be handed out at the end of each session and winners must be present.
MessageNet Systems (Booth 440): MessageNet Systems, which makes emergency notification platforms, will give away an iPad 3 at the end of the show. Leave your business card at the company’s booth and, if you’re present at the drawing, you may take the iPad home with you. If you’re not there, MessageNet Systems will arrange to send the device to you.
PGi (Booth 414): Need to “amplify” your revenue? Conferencing vendor PGi hopes to pique your interest with its virtual meeting platforms and, in doing so, is holding a drawing for a Bon Jovi-autographed electric guitar. The drawing will take place Thursday, March 29, at 11:30 a.m. at the PGi booth; the winner does not need to be present to win.
PowerNet Global (Booth 421): Visit the competitive service provider, get your badge scanned and wait to find out if you’re the randomly chosen winner of an Android tablet. In the meantime, enjoy coffee and cookies at the PNG booth on March 28, and find out more about the company’s social media contest for a chance to win one of 10 $50 American Express gift cards. When you “like” PNG on Facebook, you’ll be entered into a spreadsheet the company will have at the show. Be one of the first 10 people on that list to visit the booth and you’ll receive a $50 gift card.
ReadyTalk (Booth 226): Listen to the audio and web conferencing provider’s presentation and you’ll be entered to win an iPad 3. The drawing will be held in mid-April and the winner will be notified via email and phone.
ServerCentral (Booth 635): Like gum? The managed data center provider has gum and a cool gumball machine it will give away in a blind raffle. Visit ServerCentral’s booth, leave your business card and wait to hear whether you’ve won the gumball machine. ServerCentral will notify the winner after the show and announce that person’s name on its Facebook and Twitter pages.
SimpleWan (Booth 246): Need a break? Go to the SimpleWan booth to play some Xbox Connect games. If you can beat one of ladies youll be playing against, youll win a gift card. SimpleWan will have a range of cards, some worth up to $100.
Sonic.net (Booth 240): The metro Ethernet provider will give away an iPad 3. Put a card in the companys fish bowl and be on hand for the drawing at the booth on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
StartMeeting (Booth 331): Pick up a silicon negative-ion power band (you know, the kind you see everyone wearing these days). Then, report back to the conferencing company’s booth at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, when StartMeeting will hold a drawing for an iPad 3. You must be present to win, and wearing your StartMeeting power band.
SunGard Availability Services (Booth 542): The cloud and disaster recovery-services provider will give away two Kindle Fire e-readers. Each winner will be drawn from a bowl of business cards and notified after the show. SunGard will ship the devices to the winners.
Technology Channel Association (Booth 239): The association is giving away one Certified Telecommunications Professional (CTP) registration. The CTP is the indirect sales industry’s certification that proves technical training and knowledge; details accepted standards of professional conduct and experience; validates agents’ expertise; and more. Sign up for TCA membership and you’ll qualify to win the CTP registration. The winner will be announced April 2 and notified via email.
The Conference Group (Booth 539): The Conference Group is looking for inner” rock stars because its latest video conferencing product, Vidyo, “rocks.” To that end, The Conference Group will give away a cherry-red Fender Stratocaster guitar. Visit Caroline Rogers, The Conference Group’s new channel manager, at the booth, do a quick Vidyo demo and you’re entered into the guitar drawing. The winner will be randomly chosen during a drawing at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, announced on Wednesday evening before the expo hall closes. Rogers will contact the winner and ship the guitar from Vegas.
Time Warner Cable Business Class (Booth 404): Give TWCBC your business card and be entered to win an iPad 3. The drawing will be held on Wednesday, March 28, at the end of expo hall hours. You don’t need to be present to win.
TouchTone Communications (Booth 211): Enter to win an iPad 2. The random drawing will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, at the TouchTone booth. The winner doesn’t have to be present, but if you are, you may take the tablet with you on the spot. TouchTone also will have money clips and reusable grocery bags to hand out during the expo.
UNSi (Booth 116): It’s March, and that means Americans are obsessed with all things basketball. So, UNSi, a connectivity, and managed and professional services provider, will give away a pair of retro Air Jordan shoes. Come take your shot at the UNSi booth from the three-point line for a chance to win. The winner will be decided on Thursday, March 29, and notified via email and phone. UNSi also will give away tumblers with its logo on them.
ViaWest (Booth 106): The cloud managed services provider is among the exhibitors raffling off an iPad 3. Bring your business card to the companys booth and, if youre the winner, youll be notified via email for shipping-address verification.
Vocal IP Networx (Booth 527): If you haven’t won an iPad yet, this may be your chance. IP services provider Vocal IP Networx will hold a drawing for an iPad 3 at the end of the show, and notify the winner via email and phone.
VoxOx in Business, a division of Telcentris (Booth 411): And if you still haven’t gotten your hands on an iPad 3, here’s one last chance. VoxOx in Business will hold a drawing for the device on Wednesday, March 28, at 5 p.m. in its booth. You must be present to win.
VTech Communications (Booth 619): Attend the company’s Lunch ‘n Learn on Wednesday, March 28, from 12:45-1:45 p.m. in Milano VI, and be entered to win an AT&T TL7611 cordless headset. Event seating is limited, so reserve a spot now by contacting the company at RSVPmarketing@vtechphones.com. The AT&T TL7611 connects to any brand of cordless or corded phone. The winner will be drawn at the end of the Lunch ‘n Learn session.
World Telecom Group (Booth 205): Check your conference registration bag for your post card offering a spin at the WTG Wheel. Prizes include laptop bags, padfolio organizers, a trip to WTG’s 10th Annual Tee & Sea Event and much more, including chances to win prizes from WTG vendor partners. For example, Data Storage Corp. will give away an iPad 2 on Wednesday at 5 p.m. You dont have to be present to win. And Velocity Networks will be raffling off a Kindle Fire.
XCast Labs (Booth 214): The hosted VoIP provider is giving away a Samsung Galaxy tablet. Put your business card in the company’s fish bowl; the drawing will be held before the show ends and, with any luck, the winner will take the tablet home. If not, XCast will ship the device.
Cloud Services Coalition: Stop by the Intelisys/CSC booth (Booth 420) for an invitation. The party runs from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, in the Palace Tower, Senator’s Suite. There will be an open bar, food and giveaways but you must be present to win.
Integra Telecom: Join the competitive service provider from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Roman II ballroom for a casual networking event. There will be food, an open bar, chair massages and a lounge area. Integra’s executives will be on hand for questions and to discuss its plans for agents. Integra vendors and product managers also will be present for demonstrations and presentations. No ticket is required but if you take a “passport” at the event and visit each vendor, you’ll be entered to win a $500 Visa gift card. The winner will be notified when the show ends.
Utility Telephone: Help the provider celebrate its 15 years in business by joining its “Studio 15” party on Wednesday, March 28. From 2-6 p.m., the company will serve top-shelf vodka to all VIP guests that means you!
