Phone maker VTech Holdings Ltd. said on Monday it has expanded into the hospitality industry, now that it has finished installing SIP phones at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The Hong Kong-based company, which sells through channel partners, said this project marked the first of many as it now ships products to brands including Hilton, Hyatt and Mandarin Oriental.
VTech just wrapped a deployment of SIP phones into more than 660 guestrooms in Octavius Tower, a new addition to the Caesars Palace accommodations. Caesars Palace went with VTech’s S2420 two-line SIP cordless phones for the bedrooms and the S2320 SIP TrimStyle phones with tethered handsets for the bathrooms. The phones all were installed on a Nortel CS1000 PBX system.
The Spring 2012 Channel Partners Conference & Expo will be held at Caesars, March 26-29.
