Phone maker Grandstream Networks has released a new HD IP phone for enterprises.
The GXP2124 phone is Grandstream’s first with Electronic Hook Support for Plantronics headsets, which are often used in call centers and reception areas. Users have a button on the headset that answers and ends calls, so there’s no need to touch the desktop phone. The GXP2124 also contains features including four line keys with up to four SIP accounts; interoperability with several SIP platforms; support for multiple languages; integrated real-time web applications such as weather and stocks.
The phone will be available at the end of March, through Grandstream’s distribution channels, including resellers. The list price will be $169.
