Value-added reseller Alliant Technologies has earned Cisco’s TelePresence Video Express Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) status.
The designation means Alliant achieved the training and other requirements to sell, deploy and support Cisco’s TelePresence video products at the Express level Cisco’s term for enabling partners to sell TelePresence video endpoints and other infrastructure. The program, said Richard McLeod, senior director of collaboration for worldwide channels at Cisco, “is designed to enable partners to take advantage of the tremendous market opportunities ahead not only in the TelePresence space but also in the overall collaboration market.”
For Alliant, then, becoming proficient in TelePresence sales, technology and life-cycle services was key.
“Cisco TelePresence is changing the way the world does business,” said Bruce Flitcroft, founder and CEO of Alliant. “Alliant is integrating this technology to transform our service delivery experience for our customers.”
Alliant is headquartered in Morristown, N.J., and specializes in services including borderless networking, IP collaboration, server and desktop virtualization, and data storage.
