The Conference Group recently named Caroline Rogers as its new channel manager, with overall responsibility for the company’s partner program.
Rogers replaces the company’s former channel leader, Greg Plum, who left his post as director of business development in mid-2011.
Rogers has 20 years of experience in telecommunications with 12 in the indirect sales channel. Most recently, she spent more than 10 years as a channel manager for Access Point Inc., covering five Southeastern states. Rogers also is a member of Women in the Channel, serving on the group’s mentoring program, which will launch in spring 2012 at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.
The Conference Group provides audio, web and video conferencing services. In 2012, it also will launch Vidyo, a new high-definition video conferencing service. Rogers said the service is in soft launch and will be demonstrated at the Spring 2012 Channel Partners Conference & Expo.
Also this year, Rogers said the company plans to release new buy rates for TCG agents and resellers.
