Toshiba Releases Latest Call Manager Version

Toshiba’s telecom division this week released the latest version of its Call Manager platform.

Version 7.5 is new unified communications (UC) software that works with Toshiba’s IPedge and Strata CIX IP communications systems. It’s sold through Toshiba’s dealers.

Call Manager version 7.5 lets users choose one of three display modes  regular, compact or slim docking. The first shows a full-screen view of all functions. The second uses minimal screen space but still provides indicators, information and buttons for operating the telephone. The third can be docked to the top or the bottom of the screen with function buttons and the ability to expand to regular view.

The software comes with a VoIP softphone, which can be activated at any time. There’s also customization for hot keys and compatibility with Jabra headsets.
