Verizon says its newly created global organization dubbed Verizon Enterprise Solutions will help it better provide business and government customers with fully integrated enterprise-class solutions.
Verizon says Enterprise Solutions will oversee all business, government and wholesale operations from across the company’s wireless and wireline businesses. In addition to announcing the new organization Wednesday, Verizon appointed John Stratton, previously executive vice president and chief operating officer of Verizon Wireless, to the post of president of the new group.
Verizon Enterprise Solutions will manage the carrier’s portfolio of enterprise mobility, cloud and IT, strategic networking and advanced communications offerings, as well as specialized solutions for key industries such as health care, travel & transportation, retail, utilities and financial services and IT consulting services. Additionally, Verizon Enterprise Solutions will include the companys full range of global wholesale offerings.

Other key players in the Verizon Enterprise Solutions structure include Bob Toohey, chief operating officer; Mike Millegan, global president wholesale; Ajay Waghray, chief information officer; and Kerry Bailey, chief marketing officer.
