With the economy still on rocky ground and mergers threatening jobs in the U.S. telecommunications industry, there is some good news to report.
Los Angeles-based TelePacific Communications on Monday announced that it’s recruiting and hiring employees to support growth in California, Nevada and Texas.
“Our growing customer base and expanding product portfolio are driving the need for additional skilled employees throughout the organization,” said Lalita Nordquist, vice president of human resources at TelePacific, in a statement. “We filled dozens of positions last quarter and we expect to add dozens more this quarter. By the end of the year we’ll have created nearly 200 new jobs.”
TelePacific, which has completed a number of acquisitions over the past two years, is hiring in sales, marketing, engineering, customer service, field operations, finance and human resources. A list of current openings is available here.
