Vocalocity, a cloud-based phone service provider that sells through channel partners, has developed an app that lets users access the company’s office communications system from their mobile devices.
The provider this week launched an app for the iPhone and Android operating systems; the software allows Vocalocity customers to play and delete voice mail; make remote calls that look like they’re coming from a desk extension; view call logs; update user profiles; and more.
“Our customers tell us that they are working harder and harder to keep up,” says Wain Kellum, Vocalocity CEO. “We’ve responded by releasing these features designed to help them do more while being mobile and thus maintaining a better work-life balance. Personally, I found the ability to drive our business’s advanced, cloud-based phone system from the palm of my hand saves a great deal of time and displays the professional image customers appreciate.”
The iPhone and Android applications are available through the App Store and the Android Market and are free to Vocalocity customers.
