Avaya Inc., which is holding its annual partner event this week in Las Vegas, has named its U.S. channel partners of the year.
Seven companies are taking home awards:

The Partner of the Year awards honor our best performing channel partners for their significant efforts at identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, providing technical resources to customers and prospects, and staying up-to-date on Avayas latest technologies.”
For Carousel Industries, specifically, the award comes as a result of new strategies.
Several years ago we made a change in our corporate strategy to include data networking,” said James Marsh, senior vice president of Carousel Industries. “As a result of these and other efforts, weve enjoyed a healthy increase in revenues for 2011 while providing a broader solutions set for our customers.”
Avaya makes business communications and collaboration systems, software and services. It particularly focuses on unified communications.
