Score one for the little guy.
C Spire Wireless will be the first U.S. regional carrier to sell the iPhone. AT&T had an exclusive for more than three years before Verizon Wireless broke that last winter. Sprint started selling the new iPhone 4S last month, and now C Spire, which covers several southern states, says it will offer the popular device beginning Nov. 11.
The carrier will sell the 16GB model for $200, 32GB for $300 and 64GB for $400. A new, two-year contract and data plan are required. If getting the most cutting-edge phone isn’t critical to you, C Spire also will sell last year’s model the iPhone 4 for $100 (8GB model) under the same conditions. You can pre-register online for the phones today.
