Motorola Solutions has shuffled its PartnerEmpower channel operations leadership, putting key execs into positions that better fit their skills, and that strengthen the program overall.
Juliann Larimer, formerly Motorola Solutions MSSI vice president of global channels focusing on channel strategy, programs and operations, now heads the entire Global Channels organization. Mark Kroh, whom Larimer has succeeded, takes on the role of vice president of North America Channels; and Mike Devente is leading North America’s Mobile Solutions (Enterprise) track.
Kroh is a particularly familiar name to Motorola VARs he has worked in the companys channel since 2005. He was instrumental in creating the PartnerEmpower framework and Larimer worked with him this year to finalize that architecture. Meantime, Motorola Solutions is counting on Larimer to use her experience with IBM, NCR and Zebra to expand PartnerEmpower worldwide.
Motorola Solutions emphasized that the reassignments do not affect the companys channel strategy. Rather, they shore up the PartnerEmpower program, which emphasizes regional execution.
This was about moving key leaders into new roles to strengthen our channel leadership team across the business,” Larimer said. Motorola Solutions has invested many resources in our people and programs that support our channel and there is no change in philosophy or direction.”
To that point, Motorola Solutions continues to introduce new channel-relevant products, Larimer said. For example, theres the new ET1 tablet for enterprises and the RhoElements platform, which lets enterprises develop specific apps for their mobile devices.
These are exciting new categories for Motorola Solutions and demonstrate our commitment to provide our channel with a steady stream of innovative products they can take to market with us,” Larimer said.
