Atlanta-based Endeavor Telecom, a field-services outsourcing company, announced Friday that it is actively looking to acquire several companies with complementary business plans.
Specifically, the company said in a press statement that it is looking for companies with profitable revenue, infrastructure, leadership and staff in the following areas: subscribed managed services; network monitoring; network security and performance management; PCI compliance support; IT equipment maintenance; security system installation and repair; network, digital signage and point-of-sale system installation and repair.
The company also prefers to acquire companies that also target the channel versus selling directly to end-users. In addition, it is looking for potential acquisitions to be located close to its Atlanta-based headquarters, but will consider companies across the U.S. and Canada. Endeavor also seeks to maintaining the staff and leadership of acquired companies in order to continue to build its team.
Endeavor’s private label wholesale professional services include field services inside wiring and equipment installation); order fulfillment logistics (equipment configuration, staging, testing and shipping); and Tier I and II operations and technical support. Endeavor’s field organization consists of more than 9,000 highly trained and certified technicians throughout North America. Its customers are the carriers, service providers, systems integrators, VARs and manufacturers who provide equipment and solutions to end-user businesses within the U.S. and Canada.
The company said the rollup strategy is in response to growth following its recapitalization with Trivest Partners last year. In the last 18 months, Endeavor has nearly doubled headcount, including several senior managers and executives, who have been implementing operations and process enhancements aimed at increasing customer service levels and improving the experience of field engineers.
