CHANNEL PARTNERS NBS (Booth 1421 at the Fall 2011 Channel Partners Conference & Expo) has made several enhancements to its Hosted V.o.I.C.E. (Voice over Internet Communications Exchange) service; the improvements mean the product now is in full compliance with the T.38 standard and customers can reliably send and receive faxes over the companys VoIP service.
Hosted V.o.I.C.E. underwent interoperability testing with several underlying carriers and DID providers. NBS a service provider and telecom reseller said its fax service stands out from other VoIP providers offerings because it doesnt require separate phone lines just for faxing. Instead, NBS Hosted V.o.I.C.E portfolio, with end-to-end T.38 support, allows customers to deliver and receive faxes over NBS-provided connectivity. This eliminates dedicated costs for POTS lines for faxes as well as related customer premise equipment and hardware.
We have developed dozens of new applications and features since first launching NBS Hosted V.o.I.C.E service and typically we dont charge extra to existing customers for the new functionality,” said NBS President Russell Markman. We look at these additional features and capabilities as simply a reward to our loyal customers.”
NBS didnt disclose commissions ranges but did say it will discuss its products and services in detail with partners this week in Chicago. NBS works with a number of major carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, Level 3, EarthLink, XO and PAETEC.
Security and UCaaS and SD-WAN, the triple-headed monster, dominated the news last week. https://t.co/Yoq7yrjhkf
