Value-added distributor Jenne Inc. this week talked up its new installation service for audio and video conferencing products.
Jenne which specializes in IP telephony, audio and video conferencing, data networking and IT security gear said many networking VARs face customer requests for conferencing installation, but often pass on the opportunity because they dont have the right experience. But Jenne is addressing that problem so its VARs can profit.
“Our customers were asking us for help in extending their bandwidth and reach on installation projects, and to supplement their resources with a service offering,” said Vince Piccolomini, vice president of logistics and business development for Jenne. “Jenne has developed a service offering which provides access to all the skills, certifications and training required so resellers can acquire an end-to-end solution from a single source. Through this new capability, resellers can realize a new and potentially significant revenue stream.”
To that point, Jenne now offers A/V installation services to resellers across the nation and in many cases, internationally so that regional VARs can win business outside of their local areas and offer deployment services. To do that, Jenne uses more than 150 installers across the United States, who can represent the VAR as if a member of their own team. This lets resellers enhance their business models without increasing labor costs.
Jenne offers its new installation services as a complement to its video and audio conferencing products from LifeSize and other manufacturers.
