Master agency Concierge Communications, Tempe, Ariz., announced Thursday that Clark Atwood will become president of the company, effective Oct. 1.
Atwood, currently Concierges vice president and principal, replaces founder Perry Chrisler, who has sold his interests in the company to Atwood and Jana Beck, also a principal and vice president. Chrisler, who was president for 10 years, will remain with the company under a five-year contract as a senior solutions strategist.
Atwood is a 20-year veteran of the computer and communication industries. He is the chairman and Concierge is a founding member of the Cloud Services Coalition. He is a member of the Channel Partners Cloud Convergence Council.
Beck will retain her position as vice president and principal. Beck joined Concierge after her agency, JB Telecom, was acquired by Concierge in April 2010.
Concierge is a no-cost, national consulting, business communications and technology solutions broker, representing over 40 different business communications providers.
Ive enjoyed the business challenge of building Concierge, but I am now excited to focus my full attention on clients and strategic sales opportunities,” said Chrisler in a press statement. Im anxious to devote all my efforts in sales and strategic relations as that is what I love most. Without the obligations and the daily demands of the business needs as president, I will have more time to travel and to develop a more national scope of clients. I welcome this new challenge.”
Atwood praised Chrislers leadership in growing Concierge with no outside financial support.
Perrys leadership was instrumental in getting the company to this point,” Atwood said in a press statement. Our job now is to take the excellent legacy he leaves and make sure that we hold true to the client-focused values that he set forth.”
